The Computerless Algorithm:

Please Note:
Before attempting to catch a snowflake you must understand that 1. they melt 2. they vary in size 3. only appear depending on weather.

Warning:
This action is usually time consuming and unsuccessful. Please do not attempt on busy streets.

Check List to Begin:
Standing? Yes / No
Winter? Yes / No
Outside? Yes / No
Properly Dressed? Yes/ No

- If yes continue
- If no continue at own risk/disappointment

Lets Begin!
Instructions:
- Walk outside
- Notice snowflake? Yes/No
If No - Keep walking
If Yes - Ignore or Start attempt #1
If Ignore - keep walking - the end

If attempt #1 - extend arms outwards
- have palms facing the sky
- have eyes every few seconds look - at sky (see snowflake) - at feet - at hands ( LOOP)
- continue until satisfied with snowflake catching
- have legs slightly bent to have a safe yet comfortable grasp on the group
- if not comfortable/ancy - continue walking while trying to catch
- once all set - extend arms or bring inwards to catch specific snowflakes
- if satisfied with amount caught - STOP
- if has been over 1 hour - STOP - unless eager
- If faint, tired or angry at failure/melting - STOP
- If snow has stopped - STOP
- If failed yet eager to continue START attempt #2

If Attempt #2
- open mouth
- stick tongue out
- if you have sensitive teeth - surround lips over teeth with tongue still out
- have eyes follow same set of rules as attempt #1
- have same stance as attempt #1
- Once set - continue loops
- move tongue side to side to catch
- move head forwards and backwards & side to side to catch
- if satisfied with amount caught - STOP
- if has been over 1 hour - STOP - unless eager
- If faint, tired or angry at failure/melting - STOP
- If snow has stopped - STOP
- If failed yet eager to continue START attempt #3

If Attempt #3 ( if all else fails )
- STOP all previous snowflake catching techniques
- turn around
- walk inside house
- get bowls and buckets
- bring outside
- go back inside
- retrieve when you feel like it/ after noticeable snowfall
- if snowflakes/snow is precious to you, place in freezer.

- If you've made it this far, you are truly a die hard snowflake catcher
- If not, don't blame you and not surprised if you never try again.

The End.
