Karen C's Audio Object Project

I wanted to create something that no one knew about me. Deciding this, I wanted to look at skiing a little more closely.

Object
I decided to create an image of a skier skiing down the hill. There are a lot of twists and turns on the ski hill and i wanted to incorporate this into my project. To do this, I used a motor and programmed it to ski in a circle. Therefore, it did not matter where the audience was, they could see the skier. I used a audio and motor shield for this project as well.

I created a clay skier ontop of the snow to give a very realistic approach on skier. I decided to not put a face on the skier so anyone could remember skier down the hill.

Sound
For the sound, I wanted it to be as realistic as possible. Therefore, after creating a lot of different folli sounds, I decided the best was to do this would be to film myself skiing down the hill.



This piece is to represent my love of skiing. It is a lot of fun and it is something I do not talk a lot about. I wanted to create something that represented me but not a lot of people know about me.
