I chose a clock because it represents life. Time cannot be stopped and to me, time goes by very fast.To emphasize this, the movement of the hand is increased. I intentionally made the hand go counter-clockwise because there is always too much to do in so little time. There are moments where I want to travel back in time to correct my mistakes.
I realize that I live through endless cycles of emotion. to symbolize this, I created a one minute sound piece that is divided into 4 sections. Each section contains a combination of sounds that are related to my moods.
The moods I chose to portray are:
Happiness
Sadness
Boredom
Anger
I used samples/acapellas from songs, recorded some material and foley sounds for this project.
Final thoughts:
The clock resembles a face.
