Paper Motor Project - Chris Olsen

I used an Arduino, Motor Shield, 3x 5v DC Motors, 2x LED.

I wanted to create a decorative light. The original idea was to have the cutouts cast a shadow on the fluttering upper layer to create subtle movement. Unfortunately the motors I was using couldn't handle being run at such low speeds and the movement wasn't as fluid as I was hoping for. However I like the added sounds the motors brought to the piece so I decided to make the LEDs flicker to exaggerate the old-fashioned projector effect. If I were to improve upon the original I would like more intense lights, for a clearer effect.
